Arizona’s centennial organizers are seeking nominations to honor outstanding women from across the state.
Through Oct. 1, nominees are being sought for the Arizona Centennial Legacy Project: Arizona’s 48 Most Intriguing Women.
The program is aimed at identifying women from across the state who come from diverse backgrounds and are making positive contributions to Arizona’s future. Nominees can be professional and non-professional women who are actively helping lead their communities.
The project will recognize 48 women as a salute to Arizona’s 100th year as the nation’s 48th state.
There are a variety of categories for nominations, and applicants will be evaluated by a 12-member panel of judges. The women will be identified and honored at a luncheon and their stories will be included in a book to mark the occasion. There is no application fee.
